The main changes implemented since the last version are as follows:

PM compatibility version 1.25.0

New features:

  • The ASC4-Battery can now control if ext. DGs should be started or stopped based on system load or SOC through a dry contactor output.
  • When the battery acts as a power source an optimal DG load can now be set through parameter 8014-8016, which the ASC will try to keep the DGs at.
  • M-Logic commands for enabling and disabling the charge parameters added along with M-Logic feedbacks.
  • Support for LS PowerBRiC ESS protocol added.
  • Support for EOS Energy Block BMS protocol added.
  • The ASC4-Battery can now limit the mains charging setpoint, so the peak shaving setpoint is not exceeded by enabling parameter 8024.
  • The ASC4-Battery can now change the voltage reference to be based on the busbar measurement instead of the nominal voltage, when a mains is connected to the busbar using parameter 2661.

Changes:

  • Sungrow LC100 Utility LFP BCU protocol now supports running in VSG-mode, when droop is enabled within the ASC.
  • Sungrow STxxxCP50-HV BCU protocol updated for the latest VSG control scheme from Sungrow.
  • TRUMPF TruConvert AC/DC ESS protocol updated to always acknowledge alarms and set the communication timeout to be 60s.
  • Register address for SOC value from CellCheck CM BMS protocol updated.
  • The voltage and frequency reference sent during synchronization of ESB will now always be based on the average busbar measurement of all three phases. As long they are within the set acceptable limit.

Corrections:

  • New autostart conditions have been added for the ASC4 battery, so the ESS will have an autostart-signal when running in off-grid scenarios and is gridforming.
  • When the ASC4 is in auto mode and an ESB close failure occurs, the inverter will only be stopped if the fail class of 2170 is set to be shutdown.

1- Renamed "Sungrow LC100" BCU protocol to "Sungrow STXXXCP50-HV".
2- Renamed "Growatt" PV protocol to "Growatt UE-series".
3- PQ Island mode can now be used instead Auto Active mode in the Tesla BCU if "Set mode to P/Q" is activated from M-Logic.
4- The ASC Battery now accepts negative fixed power and external power setpoints.
5- M-logic control and feedback of power modes added to SinExcel PCS protocol.
6- Modbus telegram transmission conditions improved on SinExcel PCS protocol.

Corrections:
1- Setpoints for P and Q references now works correct for 10V-2500V scaling.
2- The LFP BMS now uses the nominal power as the default value for charging/discharging capacity.
3- The Sungrow STXXXCP50-HV BCU register addresses is now offset with -1.
4- Q share and DG cosphi limits now works correctly for PV or Battery standalone applications.
